Timothy Harfield

  

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Emory University, working in the area of digital pedagogy. In particular, my research involves exploring recent issues that have developed as a result of emerging educational technologies, and how these issues can be addressed by returning to theories of education from the Italian Renaissance.

In addition to my formal research, I facilitate a digital pedagogy reading group at Emory University, and am an Educational Technology Consultant at Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT).
